I’m a little confused with this whole financial aid process. My parents are in the process of filling out FAFSA and profile and I’ve looked at what tax returns I need to send to schools. Boston College’s website also lists a business/farm supplement and when I click on it, it is a form with a collegeboard. My parents are business owners. I thought the “business supplement” would be part of the CSS Profile. Is there also a completely different form for business supplement or is it actually part of Profile like I originally thought? If so, I’m not sure why BC had it separate.
The Profile is administered by the College Board.
@thumper1 So the “business supplement” that I saw on BC’s website is something that I’ll have done when the profile is also done right?
I believe it’s a separate form you need to complete when you submit the profile.
Yes, it’s a separate supplement to the Profile, to be completed by business owners at the direction of the schools from which financial aid is being sought.
@BelknapPoint Thank you. How do you access it? BC had a printout copy on their website but can I do it on collegeboard’s website?
I think the proper way to complete the supplement is to get it from the school that is requiring you to complete it.
