I know that Math II is harder, how how exactly? (what materials are in the I and but not in II, both, and vice versa)
What do I need to study for those?
I signed up for both Math I and Math II.. which was unnecessary..
Is there any benefit for taking them both though?
Thanks!

Math Level 1 is basically tests on Algebra, geometry, basic trigonometry, Algebraic functions, elementary statistics, logic, elementary number theory, and arithmetic and geometric sequences.
On the other hand, Math Level 2 tests on Algebra, three-dimensional and coordinate geometry, Trigonometry, functions, probability, permutations, combinations, logic, proofs, elementary number theory, sequences, and limits.

Some schools look at both, but usually colleges take more in consideration at the MATH 2 score. Furthermore, the curve of math 2 is more lenient.

Most competitive school’s don’t allow you to use MATH I as a subject test, partially because it doesn’t test any advanced math.

Math Level II is harder . Thats the major difference .

Level 2 isn’t just harder, it tests knowledge of a lot more stuff.

Math Level 2 adds: series, logarithms, inverse functions, ellipses, hyperbolas, radians, more trigonometry (secant, cosecant, cotangent, and laws of sines and cosines), and more coordinate geometry and functions compared to Math Level 1.

Math Level 1 has a lot a plane geometry that Level 2 doesn’t have.

Math 1 has a very harsh curve, so it’s harder to get an 800. Plus the test is very tricky, and isn’t as easy as everyone says it is. I’ve taken both tests and Math 1 was definitely harder than Math 2.
