I realize im not a student there (yet, hopefully) but I was wondering if anyone knows what the highest paid major is? I was thinking it was comp. sci. as according to the career page thingy, but that seems weird to me.

cs and then in no particular order stat, physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering

I hope you get rejected from Berkeley because it doesn’t matter what pays the most.

Look, its just one of the many factors im looking at, I have MANY interests so im trying to narrow it down a bit by looking at career opportunities. (among my interests are mathematics, computers, finances, micromolecules, neuroscience, philosophy, literature, art, international studies, nature and the eco~friendly movement, law, marketing, physics, and almost all types of engineering) I have experience in each of these areas (i.e. I wrote a book, interned at a nuclear facility and a golf club engineering company, created the user interface for an attempt to crowd source neuronic mapping, started a math club, presented an abstract on transhydrogenase at the ASBMB, have been around philosophers my entire life, have a,painting hanging in an art gallery, interned at a non profit solar pannel company, interned at smarter small business (a start up business consulting firm where I was in charge of internet marketing for it and its clients, started my own app building company, ive always enjoyed physics classes, and tried to help pass a,law restricting smoking in public places. ). Sorry if it seems like im all over the place, thats just who I am. With this in mind I think youll realize why money is in my range of decisions.
