I’ll be taking Calc BC as a sophomore and Calc 3 as a junior. What should I take as a senior? What should I take after that?
“Calc 3” means different things to different schools. After BC, most students who continue math take some or all of multivariable calculus/differential equations/linear algebra. How/if the schools package any of those concepts together will vary by school, and the order in which taken really does not matter.
Where are you taking “Calc 3”? Is this a high school class? If so, what else does your high school offer? Where would you be taking math classes in your junior and senior years?
Math classes aren’t as well-ordered after AP Calculus BC, and there are a lot of classes on the “same level” as one another. Your next step could be linear algebra, differential equations, discrete math, or a calculus-based statistics class.
Finally, you don’t have to continue with math if you don’t want to. You could take other classes.
I’m in a similar situation, except I took calc BC as a freshmen. I suggest takin a math class from your local community college, that’s what I’m doing
