I was accepted into purdue for engineering. I am curios what the MDE is about and what people usually major in. Is Engineering Physics a possible topic? If you have any knowledge about this program please let me know
The only people I know in MDE have done theatre engineering, so they take a combination of ECE, ME, and theatre classes with the goal of making major set design components. I know acoustic engineering is another option. I think engineering physics would be an interdisciplinary engineering (IDE) degree though. At this link: https://engineering.purdue.edu/ENE/Academics/Undergrad/IDE/plans engineering mathematics is under IDE, so I imagine that you could work with an advisor to make an engineering physics curriculum if you want.
