<p>On Commonapp it says that the Deadline for RD is 1/1 then it says that it's 12/15. Is the 12/15 only for the pre-application, but other forms like teacher recs/secondary school report can be sent in by 1/1?</p>
<p>I believe 12/15 is the deadline for supplemental materials. 1/1 is the deadline for the rest of the common app. But I could be wrong.</p>
<p>The preapplication (including the fee) is due by December 15, the common application is due Jan 1. Personally, I think having the fee and preapplication in ahead of the deadline is pretty smart in that the adcoms hopefully wont get a lot of last minute “I’ll just toss them an application but I’m not that committed” applications, especially true this year when you don’t need an additional essay or analytical class essay as supplemental material as you have in the past.</p>
