<p>Can someone elaborate on what the student body is like at Grinnell? Easygoing? Down to earth? or smug?</p>
<p>Definitely not smug! Accepting of others, friendly, welcoming, intellectually engaged, passionate about interests and ideas are generally what comes to mind when I think of Grinnellians, but that doesn’t mean that everyone on campus fits the description of course. </p>
<p>Easy-going in terms of not taking themselves too seriously – but they do take the work seriously and the issues with which they are concerned. The students speak out and speak their minds! They also tend to have a good sense of humor, often quite irreverent. Once you’ve read the S&B (the student newspaper) and its satirical counterpart, the B&S, you will quickly grasp this…</p>
