What is this book?!

<p>If you have a copy of the Blue Book, turn with me to Section 9 in Practice Test 3.</p>

<p>The literary excerpt is from an 1992 novel and involves two cellists, Virginia and Clayton, in a 1970's setting.</p>

<p>I KNOW I have read this book somewhere but I can't think of the name! I did online searches as well but to no avail. It's driving me crazy.</p>

<p>Do any of you happen to know what book the passage is from? Thanks!!</p>
