What is up with AP Physics B Fools!?!?

Hey everyone,
I just recently came back from taking that idiotic test they call AP Physics B, and let me tell you, i am not feeling so good. I aint gonna put my score in jepordy by discussing anything specific, but id still like to know what the general conscensus was on that poopy test (yes i said poopy).. Leave it here folks!!

I thought the MC was fairly typical of old tests in material and difficulty, though they did use a few harder examples of concepts than I was expecting.

FRQs were eh. I haven't really practiced FRQs too much so I can't compare it too well, but I think I got about 48/80 points, probably less due to stupid mistakes. I either got a high 3/low 4

I pretty much bombed the FRQs.

My teacher covered mechanics very well, but everything else...umm, not so much. So I had a lot of trouble with that exam. I hope colleges won't hold it against me. I can't help it if my teacher sucks.

^^ exactly man. dropped a big one on that exam most likely and my teacher sucks ***s. i know there cant be a whole nation that much smarter to do well on this exam, just a whole nation with much better instructino.

the teacher is important.. my teacher was able to get through 25 of the 28 chapters we needed to do.. and 2 of the ones we didn't do we had already discussed in ap chem.. and the last chapter i just red myself.. so that was really good for me.. the majority of that test was do-able for me because my teacher was good at teaching us this stuff (and constantly giving us old MC and FR problems from past AP exams)

Yeah, I think your teacher's ability to teach is "directly proportional" to your performance on the AP tests, assuming that you actually tried

Teacher's ability = k*(your performance)

wow, i feel like a dork........

haha.. can't believe I just said that

Now integrate both sides to calculate the ability ;p

dA/dt = kA

int(dA/A) = int(kdt)

ln|A| = kt + c

A = +/- Ce^(kt)

lol, calc jokes ;X

wouldnt it be

your performance = k*(teacher's ability)

just saying..

i didnt even take this test...i took C last year...i just liked the thread title :)

^^ omg u guys r so funny

MC: RAPE!!!
FRQ: it was ok save for two of them

D00d, the teacher can only do so much. Even though math and science requires the teacher the most, it's still about 80% student vs 20% teacher.

I didn't think BS would work on any science APs, until I sat down on my chair today and opened my FRQ. At the last minute I started writing down random formulas on questions that I had no idea on. Though I'm almost 99% sure I got full marks on two of the questions, the rest were just...bleh.

yeah, i think i might get a 4, but i think i pretty much sucked on MC, but aced the FRee Response, though I might get one of them wrong, but at least i tried to put down formulas and solve for a variable.
