@megustatu You’re what, a freshman? You’re not locked out of them or anything… I dunno if I could get into Ivies, but if I could I’d struggle to afford them.
@CharlotteLetter Yes, I’m a freshman. Yeah and that’s why I feel schools like Harvard and Oxford are for rich spoiled kids.
@megustatu Yeah well, Oxford doesn’t give aid to Americans usually, but Harvard gives need-based aid…
@CharlotteLetter Are you a freshman too?
brown lmao
Yes @megustatu
@megustatu You can’t just be rich and spoiled to get into an Ivy League, it takes a huge work ethic and intelligence. Having money makes affording good colleges and to an extent, succeeding in high school easier, but I’m sure plenty of Harvard and Oxford students would beg to differ with you. :\
As long as I get into UCONN, I’m set. Its getting harder and harder to get into though, so RIP me. orz
@ivyyhopeful what’s so funny about going to brown? It’s a good school if only it wasn’t so damn expensive.
i never said it was funny
@ivyyhopeful you said brown laughing my butt off and hey I just went no your profile and realized my schedule is the exact same as yours except I’m not taking Spanish 2 as honors. I’m taking ap euro next year and I heard it’s really hard. A 10th grader told me about half the people in his class are failing.
Brown, Columbia, Carleton <3
Carleton?
MIT, Columbia, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, CalTech or Stanford are my top six schools, in no particular order.
Except MIT. MIT is first. XD
@JUNEmichi good list of schools. What school do you feel you would have the best chance of getting into?
As of right now,
Columbia University, NYU, and UC Berkeley are big contenders. Although, I’m still going through and getting a better idea of the Ivies so we’ll see. Among considerably serious consideration are Notre Dame, Georgetown, and Boston College.
UPenn-Wharton
Michigan
UC-Berkeley, Santa Barba, Georgia Tech and U of Minnesota
Duke and MIT
My dream would be Johns Hopkins but UCSD would be nice
