If you could give an undergraduate student a "success tip", what would it be? I don't mean obvious stuff like "go to class" or "do your homework." Little things - easy or harder - that aren't often brought up but that you know to be effective in increasing overall college success.

A good one from a friend: "work from Day 1 to establish relationships with people on campus: other students, professors, administrators." Contacts are all-important in our super-connected world." This one, I think, will help on so many levels. One, being connected with others while in school reduces loneliness (another big thread on here), two, building relationships means you have a larger support network when you need help, three, the more connected you are, the more opportunities and experiences you are exposed to during your college years.

What are other tips you all have?
