I'm just curious about everyone's post-graduation plans for people majoring in a liberal arts field. Grad school, law, industry, internship, full-time offer?

Is the economy having a major effect on your prospects?

I've got internships, but I don't feel like these are ones for which I can build a career or find a better job with, has anyone had any success?

Well here’s my plans. I’m a liberal arts major and I’m taking the LSAT in October. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll take a year off and retake. And if that STILL doesn’t work out, then I’ll consider either getting a Masters in Urban Planning or a Masters in Education or simply just try to find some sort of job during administrative work.

None. I could always get a job with my brother (railroad) or sister (medical office) but tbh i’d rather do neither. As an LA native, i’m tired of living here, so i want to do something different. Maybe i’ll take a year off and live in new york. While i’m doing that, i’ll also take/study for the GMAT, get my letters of rec from my profs, and research which professors i’d want to work with in which departments for grad school. Grad school should eat up a nice chunk of my life, and after that pray to god that i can get a job.

if grad school doesn’t work out, then like other LibArts majors, i’ll just say i’m ‘pre-law’ :p
