What kind of students does Brown like most?

I want to know this ASAP. Thanks guys!

Do you plan to reverse engineer yourself to fit?

If you’re asking because you want to become Brown’s ideal student, the answer is “not you.” Just be yourself - colleges don’t really give any preference to certain “types” of students.

HYPWAS,

you have the acronym wrong, it’s PRESTIGEWHORE.

Also, what irony that you’re only school specific posts have been about MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Brown, and Northwestern.

HYPWAS, if you did get in you probably wouldn’t be very happy. Brown students are not so much into prestige, they are more into independence and flexibility. They tend to mock prestige-seekers. Brown itself begins its presentation to accepted yet still undecided students with a series of movie and TV clips which make fun of the school. I still wonder if this is an intentional last-ditch effort to get rid of those prestige-obsessed individuals who managed to slip through the committee.

Honestly, Brown takes a huge array of students. Trying to be one of those rather than being yourself is not a good way to start your app.
