What kinds of students does BC deny outright through EA?

I applied EA to BC (college of arts & sciences; undeclared) but I am worried because EA is more selective for them than is RD. I know that the accept, defer, and deny but I was wondering what kinds of applicants they outright deny through EA? Are they the ones who are clearly below their average and have very slim chances in the RD pool or are they also applicants who are strong both academically and extracurricularly?
For a quick example I am a white female with a 4.0 GPA and an OLD SAT score of 2080 and a NEW SAT score of 1400. I have leadership in the math, science, and English honor societies, was section leader in marching band, and am on varsity crew. I have community service and I believe my supplement is strong.
Is my application one they would likely deny, defer, or accept?

Don’t be afraid to be brutally honest! I am so anxious waiting for decisions to come out and I just want to brace myself for what is to come. Any opinions are welcome. I will chance if you just leave me a link.

I think at worst you will be deferred. I believe your stats are right in line with what BC is looking for, but admissions can be unpredictable.

Wow we sound really similar actually! I applied EA to arts ans sciences for poli sci and am also a white female with a 4.45 GPA, 1390 New SAT and 2060 old SAT. Honestly, I’m expecting to be deferred but wouldn’t be shocked if I was rejected (I don’t have 4 years of Latin, only 3) but I also wouldn’t be shocked if I was accepted. We seem (at first glance) like the type of students who BC looks for, but you never know. Good luck!

@megkell898 Hahaha we do seem very similar! Good luck, I sure hope we both get in! I am so anxious…

I spoke to a Dean in CSOM at BC when I was visiting and he was saying that almost everyone is qualified in the applicant pool, so I think they will deny the students who don’t have anything really interesting about them, even if they have really high scores. It’s really difficult to tell.
