Binghamton is one of my three top schools. I loved how Binghamton had a whole building dedicated to psychology (because that’s what I want to do), but I’m also very interested in a Pre-Med track to do Psychiatry. I just want to know what would set this school ahead of JMU and Ithaca (my other favorites)? Why (for those with similar majors and Minors) did you choose Binghamton over others?
I think most people that go to binghamton chose it for the lower cost and the fact that a lot of their friends or people they know are also going there.
It is efficient-you can shave off an entire year with APs. You can easily travel to NYC using the Shortline and Wanderu is only $21.
Same with IB credits…they are very generous.
Binghamton is a very good value if you have to pay full price.
Binghamton is probably easier to get into than JHU.
