What Matters?

I was wondering if being President of something really matters from anouther thing. Like President of the class and then someone else is president of a big club? Does it matter? Also, how big of a rold does going to Cornell and taking classes in the summer play?

Thanks for any help in advanced.

what i mean by matter is how the admissions officers see it

i was not president of anything and I was accepted (I did have other leadership positions however)

I don't think being president of one thing vs president of another makes too much difference. If anything, though, I'd assume being class president holds a bit more weight than being president of a particular club, since the admission officers won't necessarily know how big (or even what) the club is.

Of course, you don't need to be president of anything; I also got in just fine without it.

you can't make a definately formula with this college stuff. just say what you are, and you may get in because of it.

definately equals definate... hahaha
