Forensic Pathology.

Neurology, Surgery, Pathology, or Internal Medicine

Anesthesiology or some sort of pediatric specialty have always been at the top of my list.

I’m surprised no guys have said gynecology yet. lol

pediatrics

I’ve been saying Pediatrics since I was 13, but I’ve always felt an attraction towards surgery…you never know!

I think that I want to be either a reproductive endocrinologist or become an interventional radiologist.

Vascular surgery as of now…but i’d be happy with getting through pre-med and getting into med school first. =]

My interest are vast but trying to narrow down. EM, gas, rads, ortho, heme/onc, derm, plastics, an psych. I will only truely consider derm, plastics, and ortho based on my step 1 scores. I do have the research background needed. Probably wont pick ortho or plastics b/c eventhough I like the procedures, I’m not ready to commit myself to that lifestyle, at least not yet. Heme/onc might be too depressing when treating a infant with retinoblastoma or the like. So as of right know its probably EM, gas, psych, or physiatry (PM&R).

neurosurgery and any type of neuroscience and ooh cognitive science!!!=] i am so happy to see how many people are into that too!!! must pm me what undergrad college youre going to!

Psychiatry

Personally right now I’m just worried about doing good in college (among many other things) to get into med school. I have more interest in certain specialties than others but I’m not going to try to make any decisions this early…

Pediatric :)

& nate763- I feel you. I’m moving 6 hrs. from my home-I’m worried about being on my own lol, and all the pre-med work, but in the end it’ll be worth it! where are you going for undergrad? I’m going to Bryn Mawr College!

I live in Michigan so that’s where I plan on going to college to keep the cost low… U of M would be nice if I can get enough financial aid from scholarships and from my parents, but I think I’ll end up at Grand Valley which seems good too. I hope I can get into one of the med schools in-state but I’ll go wherever I’m accepted.

oo that’s a good plan. saving money now and later :)
