It was 110 degrees on the field at the start of the UT-Baylor football game last Saturday. When I visited Austin last October, we went to an outdoor renaissance festival and it was mid-90s and very humid. I felt faint, literally.

Patrick Cantlay refused to wear his Team USA hat today to protest the fact that Ryder Cup players don’t get paid. So why did he accept the invitation to join the team? Say no thanks if you don’t want to play without compensation. It’s just that simple.

I was just going to say this! How crazy is this?? I mean, it’s a work place and you just have this uncontrollable dog running around biting people? I love dogs, but this makes no sense.

It’s unacceptable to expose employees to a dog that bites as a condition of employment. Responsible dog owners do not take chances once they know that their dog bites.

This needs to be dealt with today. The dog needs to be removed until it can show it can behave. The Secret Service deserve a safe workplace.

The article indicates the dog has been moved. I wonder if the Bidens offered any compensation to the more than a dozen people attacked by their dog-or at least to the person who had to be hospitalized as a result? Worker’s compensation claims just soared at the White House. Hard to understand why they did not take action earlier.

There is no “standard.” It’s whenever the conversation veers too much in one way or another for an extended time, and/or starts developing in a way that might violate TOS or Forum Rules, and/or receives lots of flags, which warrant moderator attention, as in this case. Feel free to start a new post on Biden’s dog.
