there was a little bit of controversy at my school last year, when one girl was considering not going to college right away. She is great at rhythmic gymnastics, and wanted to train for the olympic qualifiers. However, this would have ruined the school’s 100% college matriculation thing+ her family would’ve wanted her to go to college. I think she is somehow doing both right now though…

4 year private… 21%
4 year public…25%
2 year college…41%
Voc/Tech…5%
Military…3%
(copied straight from the school profile)

~99% attend college, probably 2-3 out of every class of 400 takes a gap year or does something else.

She’s not ugly. She’s just arrogant and thinks she looks way better than she does.

like 95 percent

The answer depends on whether you consider the local CC a college.

93%. My mother and I calculated it.

99%

what’s keeping it from being 100% is the people who take year breaks off from school or the occasional dropout

I thought it was much lower, but apparently it’s 90%. However, this includes the 100% of IB grads who go to 4-year institutions and the kids who go to the local community college. So I imagine the rate to 4-year colleges (including those who defer for a gap year but have already been accepted) is more around 60%. Quite a few kids opt for the military as well, though a significant number attend academies before doing so.

100%. The school will find some excuse to kick you out if they think you won’t go to college.

Around 97%. We just had our first graduating class last year.

100% …

Pretty much 100% of the graduating class usually goes to a 4-year college. 1-3 people every once in a while may go to Community College because of financial reasons.

36.3 go to a 2 year
27.9 go to a 4 year

I live in the deep country, no one really goes to college, they all work on farms and such.

@nith - it’s a combination of 2 year CC and 4 year college.

60% 4 year
30% 2 year
10% none/trade school

98-100% to 4 year colleges

I don’t have the numbers, but I think only around 30% go to 4 year school (mostly FIU) and the rest either the de facto community college (MDC) or just no school.

Amazing percentages here. Goes to show how skewed CC can be

About 30% of the students from the senior class would go to a 4 year institution.
About 20% for 2 year institution.

…or is it the other way around…20% 4 year and 30% 2 year…I don’t know…
