What percentage of your school is headed to Ivies+?

Class of 150: (international)

1 yale
1 dartmouth
3 rice
3 upenn (1 wharton)
1 berkeley
2 uva
1 carnegie mellon
1 stern
1 georgetown

14/150... ~9%

Top Public School
Class of around 460
2 Brown
1 Stanford
2 Georgetown
3 Boston College

granted this is just where people are going...

**some of above are athletes

1 harvard
1 rice (got into columbia, olin, and cornell, though)

so two out of 223.

.897%

everyone else goes to ohio state, miami u, ohio university. If you're smart you go to Kenyon, Denison, Otterbein, UCinci or UToledo. We also have one going to UMichigan.

122

no one got into an ivy this year, last year in the smaller graduating class (110?) 6 went to ivies.

1 going to upenn out of about 400
but most people don't even leave our city, so that's a lot of the reason why

Something like 3-5% to ivies and something like 10-20% to "top schools". Public "regional" suburban hs.

Zero Percent-0%

2 girls headed to Princeton, 1 to U Penn, and 1 to Stanford with full ride(not an Ivy but w/e)

My daughter's dance school has 10 graduating seniors this year, 2 going to Stanford, 2 going to Brown, 2 going to other ivies, 2 going to top LACs, 1 going to UC Berkeley, and one going to an arts school. These dancer's academic schools are sprinkled throughout the area, all but two go to public schools. And it's pretty much this way every year. So if you are looking for ECs that will help get you in a top school, apparently dance schools like this one are pretty good.

Out of the 55 seniors at my school:

Harvard -- got an 1800 on the SAT and will flunk out

Got into Cornell but is going to Tufts cuz he's a dillweed

Williams -- dumb as hell, will flunk out

Swarthmore -- Got a 1700 on the SAT and will flunk out

Odd year, this year. All but #2 are URM, so that's probably what got them in.

My school doesn't have a graduating class this year but let me say this:

Out of 11,000 graduating seniors in my COUNTY 3 are going to Private out of state schools! 3! I know one of them (URM) is going to Princeton... however I think the rest are just moving.
