<p>I only applied to USAFA, USMA, and USNA, in that order of preference...no civvie schools. Probably not the best idea, I know, but luckily the Academy pulled through for me. :)</p>
<p>In this order: USAFA, USNA, GA Tech. I was going to apply for Embry Riddle, but then I got my LOA from USAFA and didn't bother.</p>
<p>In what i determined was not the best strategy, my son applied ONLY to USAFA but got everything done VERY early and pursued with passion. We calculated the last possible moment before he would have to fill out other applications but luckily the LOA came in plenty of time as well as the noimination. He completed the common app in the Summer prior to senior year but never had to use it.</p>

<p>Wow! There's a pretty big USAFA presence here in the community. I've met many graduates just through my church, and some of my friends are related to current cadets. It's exciting!:)</p>
