I know I have to take SAT subject tests, but I don’t really know what to do. I lean towards mathematics, but I have also done well in history and science subjects. Last year I took AP World, but I don’t think I’d be prepared to take the subject test. Additionally, when do I have to take the SAT subject tests by? Is there a specific subject test that is easier than most others?
Usually November or December for regular decision. There is no test that is “easier” for everyone. Math 2 and USH have the better curves.
I think most schools that require SAT2 scores will need two or three from different subjects. You’d better take math2 not only because it is actually easy but also because many schools may require it. The world history test is only on December. If you want to take SAT2 besides math2 before the ED1 deadline, I will recommend USH or a science subject that you are good at. The easiest science subject, in my opinion, is chemistry because it requires more memorization. But the curve in physics is better, despite more questions.
