Hey guys,
I recently just took the SAT for the first time on January 28th and am very disappointed with my scores. I'm currently a junior, ranked 30 out of 393 (top 8%), have an unweighted GPA of 3.8 and a weighted GPA (my school does it out of a 7.0) of 5.68. I've taken 6 AP classes so far and by the time I graduate high school I will have taken 9.

When I received my scores from the January SAT I was upset with what I got.
Math: 590
CR: 540
Writing: 540

I feel like these scores are pretty bad compared to the rest of my stats and I'm really freaking out because I want to improve them quite a bit. My ideal score would be a 650 in each section. I'm planning on taking the SAT 2 more times, in June and then the beginning of my senior year. The top schools that I'm dreaming to get into are University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Florida.

I was wondering what scores you guys received your first time taking the SAT, and what scores you ended up with and submitted? Also, what is the best advice you can give to me in order to raise them?
