<p>I am looking very closely at Stanford, Duke, and Wisconsin-madison. I am very interested in microbiology/immunology, and am considering pursuing an MD in one of those areas. Now here's my question. If I got into all three schools (probably not), or just Duke and UW (most likely), would either school be a superior choice, or would they be fairly comparable? I would probably be more challenged at Duke (and Stanford), but UW has a specific major in medical microbiology and immunology, which might spark increased levels of interest. So basically what i'm saying is, can i go wrong with any of those schools?</p>
<p>You need to find out where you get in before you have to decide which is best. Once you find out, go back and visit. Schools look very differently once you’re in. If you’re applying ED, then go visit again now…take classes there and spend an overnight.</p>
<p>That’s a decision you’ll have to make once you’re accepted. You’ll also have to look at finances as well.</p>
