Is there a big difference in the pre-med programs offered at colleges and universities? If so, which schools are going to best prepare me to do well on the MCAT and in med school? Is there a list or website with this type of information online? I'm mostly interested in getting information on schools in the mid-atlantic area. Thanks.

UPenn and Hopkins are generally considered to have incredibly good premed programs, though Hopkins' is notoriously cutthroat. Both schools have the preproffesional bent that caters to premeds, and both have top-5 med schools

(oh, just for the record, I'm currently a rising 2nd year premed at Penn)
