<p>I am talking about the med school success rate for the year 2009 for all the applicants of each undergraduate school who finished premed and applied. I had surveyed a lot and found the fact like this.</p>
<p>Berkeley and U. Michigan’s success rate is just above 50%. That is the best rate for state schools.
Top 20 level private schools(like Cornell, JHU) have success rate around 65%.
I think Harvard has 85% success rate.</p>
<p>Sure, if we count only the statistics of the students whom each school committee officially think qualified, the number could go even above 90%.</p>
<p>Around 5 years ago, Berkeley had above 60% rate, and top 20 schools had above 80%(even over 90%) rate. However, that is kind of a manipulated old story.</p>
