Any suggestions of good schools to apply to?

There are many, many schools that might fit the bill for you. Help us give you information by telling us more about your criteria for “good schools”. Are you currently a junior or are you at some other point in your education? Are you looking for a big school or small? Is cost a factor? What states or regions of the country interest you? What sort of student body do you want - liberal, conservative, social, quirky, athletic, outdoorsy, politically active, all-girls, etc.? Are you aiming for med school or grad school?

i am a senior in high school will graduate in 3 months. Have applied to schools and got accepted but will probably take a year off as i have to work (i support myself) , and was curious as to what schools someone would say fit my stats, and yes i do have dreams of medical school, idk if i am smart enough to get in! but its always been in the back of my mind, regardless biology is my passion and i want to study regardless of med school or not but i will most likely 99 percent attend grade school after undergraduate. Northeast region of country interests me the most

Your first step should be to contact the schools that already accepted you to see whether they will hold your spot for a year. Many schools will be willing to do this so long as you clearly explain your intentions for the year and you have a valid reason for requesting a deferred start date.

If you have no savings or outside income, cost is going to among be your primary decision factors. Are you paying for your own housing? If not - if you live with family now, for example - you may want to consider a school where you can commute for a year or two, possibly even a community college. Then, later you may want to transfer to a four year college. Alternatively, you should look at your state flagship and other state public schools.
