So, recently I had a meeting with my guidance counselor and she told me that she was recommending me for two scholarships: The Posse Scholarship & some scholarship for Colby-Sawyer College. I really want the Posse scholarship because I want to go to Denison University really bad, but there's a chance I might not get it. On the other hand the Colby-Sawyer one should be a piece of cake to get, but I wouldn't want to go for all four years. So, does anyone know if i could do both, and then if I didn't get the Posse Scholarship, I could get the Colby-Sawyer one? And if I did get the Colby-Sawyer one, is it frowned upon to transfer out while having a full scholarship? Or should I stick it out with good grades at Colby-Sawyer and then apply to a more prestigious graduate school? I don't know what to do! :(

Transferring out is not an issue, but paying for whatever school you transfer to certainly may be, as generally there is not much aid available for transfer students.

Are your stats high enough for scholarships to other schools? If so, then those 2 schools won’t be your only options if the big Posse scholarship doesn’t work out.
