this march i completed my 11th yr of high school through a cbse school with avg scores.I was supposed to go to u.s by agust and thought since im 16 i'll i have repeat 11th in a u.s public high school.now the problem is that my visa has been retrograted and i'm not sure when i'll be moving to u.s.So my options are either to do 12th and give my cbse board exam(i've missed the whole first term) or do IB diploma first year and complete it in u.s high school. But where i'm moving to in u.s is a small place known as the san jacqoin valley or visalia in california and i did try to find out if high schools in visalia offer IB but i couldn't find anything, and that tells me they don't.So should i do one year of IB diploma ,do the 12th gr in u.s with AP subjects or do 12th in cbse??will one year IB and another year of AP get me enough college credits to waiver atleast a semester and look better than one avg 11th year and avg 12th?or will i just be wasting my time?i know IB is going to be very hard but unlike cbse theres more analytical work involved so i don't know plus IB is quite expensive so i don't want to waste my dads money just like that.

Have you tried contacting the high schools you want to attend in the U.S? If not, call a few of them come Monday and see if anyone can help you with international student questions.
