On my way to the ACT test, there was severe weather, so I came at 8:10 instead of the 8:00 I was supposed to be at the school. The school where I usually test waits an extra half hour if some people are missing, but when I got to the school, I was just a minute to late, so I was unable to take the ACT! I want to take it in the fall...Does anyone know what I should do? Can I just call and say there was severe weather, which is why I came late? Or will they make me re-register for the test?

wow. in my test center, we started at like 8:45 'cus at 8, when people were SUPPOSED to arrive, like ten people were missing. i think you should call the ACT and tell what happened. i don’t think that’s fair at ALL

That’s why I was so angry! At my normal test center, we start at 8.30 to wait for other people, but they didn’t have the ACT, so I went to the other school. I will be calling ACT and talking to them.

You are required to arrive when the admission says so. My test center started promptly. We had six people missing, and we started right then and there. You will not get a refund; ACT will just let you register for another test date, plus the fee.
