I got Denied to Oberlin College and NYU
I got waitlisted to Occidental and Case Western
None of the schools i got into have a film program that's worth going for.
How easy is it to transfer?

<p>Why did you apply to schools that did not have the program you wanted?</p>
<p>Pick the school that A) makes the most sense money-wise and B) has some film courses you can start with. Get some of your general ed requirements out of the way.Meanwhile start investigating schools to transfer to. Or, you could take a gap year and apply to schools for the following year or apply to schools for the Spring semester.</p>
<p>I applied to them because I thought they would be respectable. I was honestly just really wanting to go to Oberlin, Occidental, and especially NYU. I just added the others as solid schools I could transfer out of. I just wanted to get into a school with a good enough rank to merit getting into NYU as a transfer.</p>
<p>My S applied to Occidental. It seems like a really great school with a lot of film activity going on, and great ties to the LA industry. Just try to get off the wait list!</p>
