My goal in life is to be an anesthesiologist, just wondering what I should major in.

You can major in anything and go to med school.

Biology or a science might be the most helpful, but as long as you take the right science courses, you can get into med school with any major.

I’d advise majoring in something other than the typical bio, chem etc. because you’ll never have another chance to focus in something other than science and if you have an inkling of intellectual curiosity there will be multiple other fields that interest you. Plus most non-engineering/science courses are easier give out more As, so you can help out your GPA while intrinsically following one of your passions. :D

It doesn’t matter what you major in, you just have to take the prereq courses to get into med school. SO choose anything you’d like to do, make it something you enjoy incase you don’t get into med school.

Why would anyone dream of becoming an anesthesiologist?

Women’s Studies.

the same reason most people go into business and pharmacy

Tooooons of money in anesthesiology. Was looking into it myself.
