We are heading to Florida next week to visit 8 schools. We have reservations for campus tours and info sessions.

What should we bring along to each of these campus tours? Should I have D fill out applications and have admissions look at it? Is that proper? Three schools we already sent ACT scores to, should I ask them if they received them? Should I bring a copy of her high school transcript?

It isn't necessary to bring any application information, including test scores or essays. Unless otherwise specified, info session will have dozens of parents, and you will most likely not receive individual attention unless on the campus tour. However, if you decide to have an interview with an admissions officer, or meet a professor, this is a different scenario (and unfortunately, one I am unfamiliar with since I only went on basic group tours/info back-back sessions.)

However, it would be helpful to bring a list of question about each college to ask, a notepad to jot down distinct details about admissions and things you liked about the campus (this will really come in handy when writing the essays about "why" you wish to attend each school), and a camera may be helpful in remembering other information.

Enjoy your trips! (To make the most of each, you can also try searching for questions people ask at these events.)

Personally, I just bring an attentive mind but feel free to bring a notepad to jot stuff down. I've been on probably 14-16 campus tours and people normally don't bring anything more than what I stated. Bringing applications with you probably wouldn't be the most productive because the admissions department feel pressured when you are hovering over them.

Unless your daughter is going to interview on campus, there's really no need to bring a transcript. Also, unless you will have the opportunity to engage an admissions officer directly, you'll likely be better off confirming by email receipt of any scores or other information. Also, if your daughter is visiting just to see how those schools "feel," she's probably better off not applying until after she's had a chance to ponder her observations and reactions. She may not want to waste an application fee on a school that doesn't connect with her.

One of the best tools for campus visits is a "diary" in which your daughter can jot down her (and maybe her parents') comments about each school as soon as she leaves campus. Visiting eight schools is kind of a "if this is Tuesday, it must be FSU" kind of whirlwind tour. That's why it's best to denote all thoughts as soon as possible after each visit. If not, details tend to run together in a blur of scenery.
