What steps to take after rejection

<p>you are quite right seannay...both paths could have you end up at the same place..but freefall seemed to be talking more about the experiences he had on his journey getting there -- the journey, in my opinion, is where the true value is obtained.</p>

<p>I read FreeFalls post, and it does glorify USAFA, but for good reason. I might not be going there this year, but theres no other institution where I would rather be.</p>

<p>As for ERAU however, yes, the experiences wont amount to the Academy's. But the Aeronautical Engineering program is rated #1, USAFA is #2, and ERAU has the largest detatchment with a 76% pilot slot chance.</p>

<p>So it's not a bad alternative, in fact I think it's the best alternative, besides a different service academy provided you're not dead set on the Air Force.</p>

<p>As for me however, its the Air Force and the Air Force only. The other services might be great, as i'm sure they are, but thats just where I want to be.</p>

<p>I'm sorry to hear about USC and Notre Dame Seannay320, but i'm sure you still have plenty of good options, including ERAU.</p>
