can anyone give me the link to check?

They would have to be able to deliver on that exact time promise. Better this way, more in tune with reality. It will be up 3:30-ish.

I posted it on the top of this page.

Clearly the best thing we can do is to have every UC Berkeley applicant refresh the decision page as fast as they possibly can until the decisions are released. There is no possible way that plan could go wrong.

I think IE users get the HTTP 500 error page while Chrome & Firefox users get the runtime error. Regardless, this is frustrating :)

Orvent wins the thread.

yes, that plan worked well for those being admitted in prior years.

LOL Orvent!!! :D

I got this message “This website is being updated – please check again later.” using the link posted above.

Symptom of overloaded servers - depends on when your hit arrives. Also may log in only to get an app error and bounced out. Failure modes vary in a rich and entertaining way over the years, but are as predictable as the coming of the seasons.

I dont really care if i get in, Im 2 for 2 as of now, and I want to go to ucla. but its nice to know that you get accepted anyways. Good luck to everyone who really wants to go cal.

Uhhh… I’m trying on Firefox now, and it works just fine. It still says:

I bet that if someone came into this thread and yelled “decisions are up!!!”, everyone would try and log in at the exact same time and a server somewhere in Berkeley would catch on fire and burn the whole university down… Then how would all of you feel?

that would be pretty hilarious

1 - someone will. at least once falsely.

2 - they are already on fire, judging from the current site behavior, but they seem to be in a well designed firepit as they never impact anything else when they melt down.

DECISIONS ARE UP! Seriously.

duh? 10char

dolcevita - cliche.

Lie.
I just checked.

dolcevita, you cruel person…

My thought process: dolcevita is a ■■■■■, don’t mind him, i’m not falling for that

My nervous side: CHECK IT NOW! WHAT IF HE’S RIGHT?

dolcevita: 1
me: 0
