What time do you go to bed on school days?

whoever said 5am is most likely a ■■■■■, what time do you get up in the morning? for me its 6:15, so I get 5 hrs sleep on average, what is it for you guys?

On an average night, around 12, on a good night around 10:30-11, and on a tough night anywhere between 1 and 3. I usually get up at 6:30 in the mornings and leave for school around 7:15.

I’m in bed by 10.

9:30 pm…10 pm at the latest

My bedtime is at 9:00. I’m a growing girl and need my sleep.

I go to bed around 12am on a normal night. I totally sympathize with the OP. A couple of nights ago, my class had this huge assignment for AP lit, and due to EC obligations & tons of other homework (and maybe a dash of the usual procrastination…), I ended up only getting two hours of sleep. I went to bed at 2am, then woke up at 4am to finish the assignment before school. Then, in class, I hear a girl complaining “oh my gaaawd, I was up until like 12:30 doing that assignment!!!” I’m just like. . . . . . .no sympathy.

^Haha, I know how you feel, there’s always some kid in class complaining about all their homework, tests, lack of sleep, etc., and you have zero sympathy for them because you’re doing 10x more.

11 on average starting my homework at 4-5pm and wake up at 6. A bad night is 12. So I get 6-7 hours a night. Much better then what I used to get which was like 4-5. I like my sleep!

On a bad day, I’ll sleep from 11:45 to 12:15. So far this year, however, I haven’t slept past midnight!

And on a good day, I’ll sleep before 11:00. :)

I wake up at 6.

Yeah I love it when people say they got such little sleep, even though you got even less sleep. I was in a similar situation to kikikaylen, we had a paper due in Ap lit as well, and this one girl didn’t come to AP lit class first period, then said next block that she was up until 12:30 doing the paper, didn’t finish, and slept in. She’s frail.

11ish on average night. 10:30 on a good night. 1 on a bad night.

I usually get to bed by 11 PM and fall asleep at around 11:30. I’ve never really done an all nighter because of school work, even when I have a LOT of homework xD. I manage to finish it in time

Anywhere from 10 to 2…

try by 9, 10 at the latest. I usually actually end up going to bed somewhere in between. for me not enough sleep = failure. at school, socializing- everything. I have to make sure I get enough

I aim for 10:30.

Between 10:30 and 11:30 on average nights but for tough nights, 2 am. But I get up at 7, so its not the end of the world.lol

By 10:30 or 11:00 :P

After finishing my first Grading period this year(Jr Year) I usually went to bed between 9:30-10:30. On a bad night anywhere from 12:00 on. The latest so far has been 1:30(which was the grading period)This was with only one AP class, AP Micro/Macro Econ, which is taught by a dummy at my school so I do a lot of extra studying.

This grading period and on will be a little harder because I’m Looking to raise my GPA above 4.0. (I got a 3.958 first grading period) I also moved up from normal to honors English because my English teacher literally teaches at a sixth grade level. The difference between normal and honors English is probably the difference between 5th and 6th grade.haha

I believe I can max out at a GPA of 4.25 with one AP and one honors. So I’m prepared to stay up until 12:00 and past on a regular basis.

Does anyone have any tips to stay energized to make up for the loss of sleep that you get through staying up later??? I find that my reaction time decreases, along with my attention span, and overall cheerfulness whenever I stay up past 12. (I wake up at 5:49 on school nights)

I meant to say (which was THIS grading period. )

Haha, PicktownPenguin…I WISH I had tips for staying energized. I’m like a zombie at school sometimes. Honestly, I think I’ve just gotten using to generally being slightly sleep-deprived and I don’t even notice it until I get a vacation and I’m like WOW I’m actually a much happier, more energetic person than you’d think. Then school starts again and my cheerfulness is gone…
