When do you typically go to sleep?

I'm usually in bed by 9 and asleep by 9:30, and I very rarely stay up past then, because I'm quite somnolent past then (not a particularly desirable state of mind). I occasionally attend school functions that end at 1ish, and by the time we're dismissed from those I'm usually dizzy with drowsiness.

Most of my friends, however, are rather silly, and go to bed at all sorts of crazy times (like 11 PM and later wth?lol), so when I'm like, "hey, I'll swing by your house around 4ish, be ready to go [hiking]," they're not very receptive.

Sooo, any like minded larks in here? Or is HSL populated solely by those peculiar creatures known as night owls? What time does everyone here go to sleep?

HA! 11 is nothing. I'm not usually in bed until 12 - 1.....on a GOOD day.

^ In high school I've had the option of getting good grades, participating in a lot of ECs, or sleeping. I was able to pick two out of the three, and I chose the first two and sacrificed sleep. I don't regret it.

I usually go to bed at 9 or 10... and even then, I'm still tired. High school is not exactly the best schedule for sleep.

Anywhere in bed by 10:00 to 10:30; around 15 mins to fall asleep.

So far this year I've gone to sleep at about 2:30 AM on average on weeknights. :( I need to manage my time better, lol. I just don't start HW until like midnight... and I always get distracted and lfjsfjsdkf!

On a weekday, anywhere between 9:30 and 12:30. On a weekend, anytime between 11:30 and 4:30. On weekends, I rarely let myself go to sleep before 12 though, that is... if I get home much earlier than my curfew (which is 12:30/1:00)

Around 11:30 - 12:30 but I frequently wake up around 4:30 to finish any work I have.

Nights before AP Bio Labs are killer! That with severe procrastination results in a sleeping time of no earlier than 3 AM...I'm expecting a similar results with my Physics Lab...but otherwise I like to get a decent amount of sleep, like 1:45 AM. Usually try to start my HW at 9 about that usually entails turning on the computer which in turn results in going to CC...ahhh.

^I agree with the AP Bio labs. They take so much time.

Time I go to sleep totally depends. Like yesterday, I went to sleep at 4:30 AM just because I couldn't sleep. I tried, but I just failed.

I usually go to sleep 12ish. I go to sleep at 6 or 7 and have 12 hours of sleep once in a while.

Lol wow another sleeping thread from our very own Moodrets..

I'll break it down a bit here, to make this more accurate:

Weekdays:
I go to bed around 8~9pm nowadays, since I don't take long naps much anymore. Wake up at 7:30ish. That's anywhere from sleeping 10 hours 1/2 at the very least, and 11 hours 1/2 at the most. I can't really afford to sleep 14~15 hours on weekdays.

Weekends:
Bed around 11pm, I guess. Sometimes when there's good shows, or I feel like gaming/watching TV more, I sleep like an hour later (bed by 12 though, I don't ever remember sleeping after 12). Wake up around...1pm?

Either way, the point about weekends is that there's no fixed schedule/I, but the sleeping *hours are a consistent 12~16.

Wait, wut? I've made other sleeping threads?! ;s

^Nah, you just refer to the topic a lot, hence...

Because I'm such a lazy procrastinator, I usually end up sleeping at 2 AM or more.

usually around midnight. I have 1st and 2nd free so I get to wake up late:)

Haha, do I really have to answer this? My answer gets too complicated, changes almost every day, and has multiple answers for each day... ehhh..
lol
I really do think, though, that I'm going to quit biphasic for good, starting TOMORROW. So, you guys all need to hold me accountable for that - please? I really do want to be a normal sleeper again. I really would like to get up early on weekends and such, it's not all bad, and now that DST is over, it's actually LIGHT outside when I leave the house at 6:30am [weekdays, that is]

So, in order to stop avoiding the actual question of the thread....

Okay, if I'm having a ... biphasic.. day... lol, I'll get home anywhere from 2:45ish-3:30ish, then go to sleep as soon as possible, basically. I stay asleep for about... um, prolly 4-5 hours, depending on how early I fell asleep. Usually awake by like 6-7ish though. Then, la la la the rest of the day, then I go to sleep for the night at around 12:30-1:30ish. I wake up at 5:30, so that's a total of 10 hours at the most for the day, and 7-8 at the least.
OKAY on the other hand... if I get home and have something important to do.. like.. ehh, homework, project, work, etc. then I don't take that lovely nap, and I decide to try and fool myself into believing that, oh, I can so totally go a day on monophasic sleeping, no big deal. Hah! Not a chance - I get home at whatever time, and don't go to bed until like 12 anyhow, because even without a nap, and no matter how tired I get, I really can't make myself go to sleep before midnight... I mean, I can get into bed before then, but literally cannnnnnnot fall asleep before midnight. Anyway, that puts me with 5.5 hours of sleep at the most, if I get to sleep at 12. Usually, the next day, I'm back on biphasic for a while, after realizing the silliness of having a single block of sleep. Haha.

Thennnn, weekends. Oh, the weekends. Generally, Fridays are always biphasic, but a bit different. I sleep 5-6 hours after getting home, go out somewhere after that, and usually don't go to sleep until at LEAST past 1am, and then just sleep until... maybe noonish the next day, putting me at 11 hours max. I rarely go to sleep after.. say, 3am, so I always get at least 9 hours weekends. Then Saturdays are always monophasic, since I just pwnd both my sleeping times into one huge block, and then Sundays are monophasic as well. But I go to sleep late Sunday night so that I can swing back into biphasic pretty easily. Yay, I'm weird.

^I think you have one of the most unique sleeping schedules, ever.

I usually go to sleep around 12 AM nowadays. I could probably sleep earlier, but I tend to waste a lot of time online.

Haha, thanks. OH man, I should have written college essays about that. lol. "Bringing diversity to the campus!" ;]
