what to bring to SPOP

there was an option to bring your own sheets or not.
I'm confused. Will a bed be provided or should we bring a sleeping bag?

A bed is provided, that is why you have the option to bring your own linens, or pay the $10 and have linens provided to you.

And for further explanation, the bed only includes the frame, boxspring, and mattress. Everything you need to bring or pay the $10 fee to have it provided.

I would just bring a sleeping bag and sleep over the sheets. Don’t need to purchase the linens.

so there is a mattress?
okay
'cause I was like why would I need a sleeping bag…

pillow provided?

Pretty sure beds are provided because you’ll be sleeping in real dorm rooms that are fully furnished. I guess they’re making you guys purchase linens or bring your own this time because budget cuts are killing us all and there’s just no money for everything. It used to be free. The reason why you might want to bring a sleeping bag is because you don’t want to sleep on an uncovered mattress where who knows how many people have laid on. And since nothing is provided unless you purchase it, a sleeping bag can also serve as your blanket!

A bed, pillow and thick blanket is provided. If you paid for them to provide linens for you they give you a towel, wash cloth, pillow case and 2 sheets. Most people brought sleeping bags if they didn’t get the provided linens.
