So... as it comes down to the final hour of deciding which college to go to, I can't help but wonder...

What the heck do you do with an International Relations (Global Business) degree?

Law school? Grad school? I love USC and the idea of IR Global Business, and USC's IR is strong, but does anyone know what the students in IR GB do? Anyone?

Hey! I asked myself the same question as that is my major. Basically, I have a stronger option of law school and grad school because of the two different aspects of study. As for jobs, I will expect to be working with a company that does business internationally. I really didn't understand this major either so I spoke to a counselor and asked her what people with this major have gone on to do as professions. The counselor said it is hard to categorize the degree in terms of what profession it leads to. However, many people have graduated with this major and do law or business for companies with clients overseas. Besides this major, I have a minor in spanish. I think a language proficiency will greatly help my cause in the job market later on. I hope this helped somewhat.

Half the kids I know going to Hopkins are doing International Relations. I'm wondering what the heck this is, too!

The question I have is which more closely resembles an "International Business" major:

The Business Administration + IR degree option

OR

Business Administration + International Business concentration (minor)

Either of those or even International Relations and Global Business. However, I think you should minor in a language. That makes it more credible.
