I've been accepted ED I to Emory, but I've also been accepted EA to UGA and GaTech. Is there anything I need to do (ie send in paperwork) to UGA and GaTech to tell them i'm not going? or can i just ignore the deposit deadline and not do anything?

You ignore the deposit deposit deadline and send in your deposit to Emory. You always let them know you aren’t coming by not sending in the deposit. They need no other confirmation. Are you going to be a science major? It just seems odd that you’d apply to all three of those, with Tech being a pre-dominant science school. It’s much different from us and UGA.

actually you must WITHDRAW all your other applications.
from the emory website:

pay your Early Decision enrollment deposit to Emory, you must immediately withdraw any Regular Decision applications filed.

Yeah, but they were admitted already so it doesn’t matter anymore (It’s too late to withdraw them when they were already admitted. The others were early action, not regular decision). They are clearly going to Emory. I would just send in the enrollment deposit.

I think you should notify the other schools you are withdrawing your applications and acceptances.

There are other students out there who would like to have those places!

Congratulations on your acceptances!

I’ve found it. Both schools have an application cancellation link on their admissions websites. Thanks!
