<p>Hi. I've read all the college board what to take, not to take, but I also saw several "professional" SAT advice folks saying yes, you should have hard candy during the test (not just at break) but to make sure they are pre-unwrapped so as not to make noise. Can one do this? Will a person be kicked out for having hard candy during the test if he makes no noise at all?
Also, are pencil cases allowed on top of the desk, with extra pencil, etc?

<p>I took a Snickers bar, a jacket, water bottle, spare batteries, two calculators, 7 No.2 pencils, eraser, admission ticket, and passport.</p>
<p>Don’t eat or drink during the test. Only during breaks.</p>
<p>Pencil cases were allowed on the desks at my testing center, but it really depends on the proctors. Extra pencils are most likely to be allowed.</p>
