What type of students do undergrad business schools look for?

I’m new to this so please bear with me if this is being posted in the wrong forum or something.

So basically I am interested in attending an undergrad business school and plan on majoring in either marketing or business management/administration. The problem is, not many of my classes so far during high school (I’m currently a junior) have been related to business and are instead focused on mostly core subjects and language.

Do good undergrad business schools only look at applicants that have a strong business emphasis in high school (in terms of classes and clubs), or are they open to other extra-cirriculars such as lots of volunteering and that type of thing?

No–most high schools have no business offerings (unless you count AP Econ or sth like that).

Well my high school is very large and has a whole department devoted to just business related classes (Marketing, Advertising, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Fashion Merchandising, etc.). Would the college I want to apply to be able to see the classes that my high school offers or no?

Employers consistently complain that new hires cannot write well, speak well in public, think critically, or work effectively in teams. B-schools are getting this message.

Some undergrad business schools will look closely at your math curriculum and like to see that you have taken calculus

So with the below info about myself, would I be able to get into a somewhat good b-school such as Carlson School of Management, University of Washington, and Babson College?

3.45 uw gpa, and a 3.55 w gpa (I know this is fairly low but I’m hoping to raise it to atleast a 3.6 uw by graduation)

ACT: 31 New SAT: taking it this spring but based off of my PSAT score, I’m expected to get about a 1420/1600

Extra-cirriculars:

-I am also currently doing consumer behavior research at the Carlson School of Management with one of the professors there, and our research is likely to be published by mid-next year at most

-Board member for a volunteer club with over 800 students

-Business Professionals of America member (1st in Regions, 3rd in Regions, have gone to state twice for entrepreneurship event)

-Member of Junior Varsity Cross Country in my freshman year

-Volunteer at the North Memorial Medical Center (have worked in gift shop, oncology ward, and patient discharge)

-Member/volunteer at She’s the First, a non-profit organization that raises money for girls education in developing parts of the country

-I teach a senior citizen suffering from Parkinson’s basic computer skills and help him type up his memoirs (was featured as a ‘Standout Student’ in local news channel for this)

-Volunteer at the Hindu Temple of MN where I help out at the front desk

-Have received the Gold Presidential Service Award each year so far (required 250+ hours to receive this award; so far have a total of about 800 volunteer hours from freshman to junior year)

-Attended a business camp called Minnesota Business Venture at St. Cloud University over the summer in which students form “companies” and compete for the best business plan
