At the moment, though, I'm only practicing on it. I'm hoping to take my license test in early August.

Don't have license yet, but I practice on their '08 Accord. It rocks.

I drive a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. But "drive" is a liberal use of the word, since I've put 4000 miles on it in the year I've had it. It gets about 24 mpg, but that's because I hardly ever drive it, and when I do, it's just driving around town, or little trips to the stores 15 minutes from here. I don't think I've ever driven it on an expressway. I do live in the country, so I get better gas mileage than I would in Midtown. Supposedly, the car is supposed to get 30 mpg highway. But those highway statistics mean nothing, since that's not realistic for most people.

I also drive my dad's 1992 Ford Festiva on occasion. I feel so green when I drive that because a)the car itself is green in color, and b) it gets 47 mpg. That's hard to beat on a regular engine car. But it's a manual transmission, something I don't particularly excel at driving.

Cars, I know how to drive but for what about 5 bucks a gallon and traffic jams everywhere when I can get there faster on a bike or on a public bus.
But if the place I'm going is far then yeah I use the car, but not going to school or to the local stores around.
