So far I've heard speculation that the Reading Experimental was the Diary Passage (or notebook). Can anyone confirm this solidly?... That section was more difficult than it should be.

Was the CR Experimental the 20 minute section with 19 questions? I thought the 5 SC questions were easy, but the long passage with 14 questions was difficult. The long passage took up two entire rows of one page. The questions followed on the next page. I answered all 5 SC questions but only 4 out of 14 passage questions. :(

Was the first section experimental for everyone? Since I didn't have the Diary passage, it was probably experimental.

I had 4 math sections. One was a short one, one was a fill-in type, and two were exactly the same - 20 questions each. One was # 2 (after the essay) and the other one was like somewhere in the middle.

i hate how they give experimentals towards the beginning so you put your effort into something that doesn't count...i wish they just didnt give experimentals...

I didn't have the diary passage. Did everyone get the 10 minute writing one?

Yes, I believe the experimental was Section 1. Can everyone confirm (if you had reading, math, or writing extra section) that you had THAT particular subject as section 1? For example if you had 4 reading passages, sEction 1 was reading, if you had 4 math, section 1 was math, or 3 writing, section 1 was writing? If so, section 1 is defeinitel experimental.

I had 1st section writing experimental too--

But my friend had 4 math and his writing was 1st also?

No..my first nonessay section was writing but i only had 2 writing....i think i had 4 CR and i think my experimental was the one with Dennis and the rock..which came 4th.

::sighs:: so complicated... i know for the April version Section 6 was generically experimental for everyone.

i swear there were like 10 versions of the test from what i hear!

why don't they label the sections ... like on normal standard, (ie: math, wrting, reading) so you know what the hell you're working... unless all the grammar stuff is writing, other than my essay i couldn't tell the diff between reading /writing.

Section 2 for me was writing (Grammar). I do believe that this was the experimental section. We'll know for sure on Monday, when PR releases their analysis of the test.

I think it was section 2...because I know mine was reading section, but I didn't have the diary...don't remember what it was...

It only had 23 questions?

well something having only 23 was normal for mine... i only had 1 or 2 sections that made it past 25 questions... and hardly any grids.

uh... CR NEVEr has 23 questions. It's always either 19 or 24.

yeah..that means the rock/dennis AND the diary were 2 seperate exp...23 ?s

o, i thought the person meant under 24 questions.. nevermind

I had an extra Math section.

Which of these did some of you not have:

The section with the pie graphs (crops/acres of land) and the A B C points
OR
the section where the last one was like, which of these is the y coordinate of blahblah line with f(7)?

i had a extra math too...

i had to section with the pie graphs (crops/arces of lands)
i think this was the experimental.
i also had the other one you mentioned.

I had the one with the y coordinate of line f(7)... but I ran out of time before I actually got to that question.
