I’m an international student, so I need to pay for the out of state tuition, and I’m trying to go somewhere with somewhat low tuition fees.
I want to know what kind of GPA and ACT and SAT scores you will need to get in. Also, do you need to do a lot of sports? What if you were an officer for a volunteering? Please list some of the extracurricular activities that you did in high school.
Thank you.
CSULB admits by eligibility index and major.
You need to calculate your CSU/UC GPA if possible and plug it into this formula.
https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
(CSU GPA x 800) + (SAT Math + CR) or (CSU GPA x 200) + (ACT composite x 10).
Aim for a 3900+ for SAT or 900+ for ACT.
CSULB also has a STEM EI for science majors.
(CSU GPA x 600) + SAT CR + (SAT Math x2)
EC’s are not considered in CSU admissions. It is all about the stats.
I was in an in state student but I had a 3.4, 1910 (old) SAT score and 28 ACT score
Only 1% of CSULB freshmen are from outside California according to the campus website.
