What was your sophomore schedule?

<p>I was wondering how strong my schedule is:
AP Euro
AP Chem
Honors Advanced Math
Honors English
Spanish 3
P.E.</p>

<p>How would you rate my schedule for next year? Can you post yours as well?</p>

<p>For me(I’m a sophomore right now):
Honors Physics (really AP Physics B, was incredibly hard since there was no previous physics course; I found it very challenging despite an 800 SAT Math in 8th grade and an AIME qualification this year)
Honors Chem
Honors PreCalculus
Honors English 10(harder than it should be because of the teacher)
AP Art History(time consuming due to loads of reading)
Spanish 3(easiest class of them all by far)</p>

<p>The AP Chem looks really impressive IMO for a sophomore.</p>

<p>damn, 800 math in the 8th grade. Wow.</p>

<p>Aside from Spanish I (no foreign language freshman year) this is the most advanced schedule I could have taken. </p>

<p>English II Honors
Health
Plane Geometry
Algebra II Honors
Trig/Pre-Calculus Honors
Physical Education II
Biology
Chemistry Honors
1877 U.S. History
Computer Applications I
Spanish I</p>

<p>800’s in 8th grade aren’t that uncommon in my school district…my friend also got an 800 in Math and another one got an 800 in CR.</p>

<p>Still doesn’t make Honors Physics easy though…(actually, the other 800-Math scorer does find the class easy(pretty much the only one), but that’s because his brother who is 2 years older taught him all the stuff beforehand)</p>

<p>^
Lol, where I live they consider it an accomplishment to get an 800 composite.</p>

<p>English II Honors
Geometry Honors
PE/ Health II
Sociology
US History I Honors
Art I
Biology Honors
French III</p>

<p>AP calculus BC
AP Bio
AP wh
Honors English
Honors Spanish 3
Taking statistics on my own</p>

<p>AP European History
AP US History
Accelerated Algebra II
Honors English 10
Chemistry I
German III</p>

<p>@halcyon,
Is that for 2 or 3 sections? :)</p>

<p>Honors English 10
Honors History 10
Honors Pre-Calculus AB
Honors Physics
Honors Spanish IV
Honors Tech Theatre II (lol)</p>

<p>I am currently a sophomore, so this is my current schedule:</p>

<p>AP European History
Audio Engineering I
PE/Driver’s Ed/Study
IB SL Math I
IB-MYP English
IB-MYP Spanish III
IB-MYP Chemistry</p>

<p>The only other AP class I could have taken this year was Bio, but that’s only for the Honors kids, and plus, I’m going to be taking two years of IB Bio starting next year.</p>

<p>Honors English 10
Honors Alg 2
Honors Physics
Honors Chem
AP US Gov
Ceramics/Health
Honors French 4</p>

<p>@metsfanAJM what is MYP?</p>

<p>IB Middle Years Programme, which is basically considered pre-IB:</p>

<p>[IB</a> Middle Years Programme at a glance](<a href=“http://www.ibo.org/myp/]IB”>Middle Years Programme (MYP) - International Baccalaureate®)</p>

<p>By the way, it should say Study Hall in my post, not ‘Study.’</p>

<p>AP Euro History
Bio (Should’ve taken honors, though…)
English
Alg II H
Spanish III H
AP Music Theory</p>

<p>@Awflapjackz I’m curious, how are you managing with that schedule? I’ve struggled so much with history this year…Imagine taking 2 AP history classes!</p>

<p>I’m a sophomore now, so this is my current schedule.</p>

<p>Band
Precalculus Honors (my easiest class)
Spanish III Honors
Chemistry Honors (my other easy class)
US History AP (really hard, can’t imagine taking another AP history on top of this)
English II Honors (teacher really sucks)</p>

<p>USHAP is the only AP available to sophomores other than Music Theory AP and Computer Science AP, but those require prerequisite classes which I haven’t taken.
I agree with slugabed, I can’t imagine taking another AP history class on top of USHAP.</p>

<p>I will be a sophomore next year.</p>

<p>Honors English 10
Honors Bio I
Algebra II (first semester)
Advanced Math IV (2nd Semester)
Personal Finance
Spanish III
PE/Driver’s ED
And one more class but I’m undecided :0</p>

<p>Do your schools actually count Driver’s Ed as a graded class? Where I live it’s after school and the grade doesn’t actually count. Which is good because I got a C in it.</p>

<p>There’s no grade, but you have to accumulate a certain number of points to pass the class with a 70% or higher (I believe we needed 170 points, but I’m not sure). At my school, it’s during a day like a regular class, and you take it during either the first or third quarter of sophomore year.</p>
