What will be required for me to get into stonybrook

<p>Hi I am new to the forums(Because I am using my sisters account) and my dream school is stony brook. What stats are needed to get into stony brook with a full ride?(Do colleges offer partial rides?) I love to study computer science or pre med one day. I am a sophmore taking 3 honors classes in the accelerated program.My current gpa is a 88 average. I am also planning to take multiple AP classes next year.Is there anything I will need to improve or do? Any answers are appreciated.Thank you</p>

<p>To be a competative student, your GPA needs to be at least a 95. If you’re going to take AP classes next year, then it will be extremely hard to acommplish that.</p>

<p>How so?Ap classes are there for a reason.I know the classes are hard but If I do well enough on ap classes I could bump my grade up to 95</p>

<p>Your GPA consists of all of your grades from high school. It would take numerous classes of straight 100’s to increase your total GPA to a 95. I’m not saying that you don’t have a chance, but it’s a competative school and you’re going to need to put in a lot of work.</p>
