What would me scores be like if...?

I got 7 wrong on CR, 2 wrong on Math, and 4 wrong on Writing?

I just pulled these numbers out of thin air and I think it would be reasonable that I got this many wrong. I really have no idea, though.

Really, I'm just trying to figure out if I should send my scores to some certain colleges.

EDIT: Sorry about the thread name typo. Honest error.

CR - 710
M - 760/770
W - depends on essay

My guess would be…
CR=730
M=760
W=71

Well, you won’t really know until you get your scores back because the scale changes for every test!

But, I’ll take a wild guess based on the scale for previous tests:
CR 7 Wrong is -8.75 as a raw score, so I’d say maybe a 680-700
Math 2 wrong, maybe a 760
Writing 4 wrong, maybe a 750 (depends on your essay of course)

I’m really not an expert though so definitely don’t take my word for it!
If you’re really curious, I would look through the scales on the blue book tests. Chances are, the scale for this test will be similar to the average scale on one of those tests.

I feel that my essay was decent, so I’m getting the sense of about: 700CR, 760MA, 750WR.

Or something like that. You know, I think I might just send these scores =) … I got myself some decent scores on the ACT (35 composite) so this hopefully will be a nice little bonus (for those wondering, I took this because I need to for the NMSC).

Thanks all! Please, let this thread die unless you have something urgent to say.

Four wrong and an 11 essay was 730 on the May SAT.
