I got my midterm back today, and I got an 84 which I was quite happy with since it is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken due to my teacher.
I was just wondering, what would this be equal to on the actual AP exam since they said it would be quite indicative of our actual scores… There were 40 multiple choice and 6 free response. (Unsure of the breakdown)
I believe that a 3 on the AP exam indicates an average score in the 70s and a 4 on the AP exam indicates a score in the 80s.
But when it comes to AP exams be prepared because they are very difficult and it’s hard to predict just what will be on them. Your teacher might have told you what to expect on the midterm whereas the AP exam can cover a wide range of topics and you have to be prepared for all of them or be lucky that the stuff you know very well is what is on the actual exam.
