What would you do in this situation?

I am currently a psych student and even though I like the field, it is definitely not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I had issues with financial aid and I have to graduate earlier than expected, hence my psych degree (the molecular bio degree will take me a year longer). I really want to pursue medical research, specifically in immunology, I am bored to tears in psych. I am interested in the material but I am not happy in the field. If you were in my shoes would you suck it up and just finish the psych degree or would you switch majors again and take out private loans? Or should I just go for both psych and molecular biology degrees before I graduate and take out private loans? I have taken basically half of the pre professional courses required for med school/grad school (I was formerly a molecular bio student but I changed majors once I found out about my finacial aid situation).

I would say finish the psych degree and if you intend to go to grad school, go for biology if possible. Take biology as electives, etc.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but most grad schools require a related degree
